Being obedient due to EASY CHEESE
This was one of my first few weeks of blogging and quite a few of you haven’t seen it! Lots of meaning in this blog for us today on obedience:))
Who would’ve thought it?Easy Cheese? Cheese in a can. The vet that I use for Jack, my doodle, uses a dab of Cheese to calm him down while they are doing something that he’s opposed to having done. So with today being bath day for Jack, I grabbed the Easy Cheese to make it easier. While doing so, I observed his behavior and my thoughts led me to this blog today.
I thought about how God requires obedience from us.
The word obedience is defined as submissive to authority; to comply with orders.
In fact, 1 Samuel 15:22 is the first of numerous places in Scripture where the theme “to obey is better than sacrifice” is repeated (Psalms 40:6-8; 51:16, 17; Proverbs 21:3; Isaiah 1:11-17; Jeremiah 7:21-23; Hosea 6:6; Micah 6:6-8; Matthew 12:7; Mark 12:33; Hebrews 10:8,9).
